Lawrence, the hero, Paul Morel, spoke to the encapsulation of the expression â€Å"mama’s boy.† Mrs. Morel was exceptionally requesting, and covered Paul to where he felt it wasn't right to cherish any other individual however her. Paul’s upsetting fixation on his mom turned into a hindrance in what could have bloomed into effective associations with two significant ladies throughout his life, Miriam and Clara. In Chapter 7, Paul shows a longing for some association past what he imparts to his mom.
